We are recruiting a Pharmacist to join our fantastic store in the busy town centre of Nuneaton!
This is a permanent role for 32 hours per week.
Along with a medium sized Health and Beauty retail department, there are 2 dispensaries; one for core items and services, and one for Care Services.
There is a team of 22, including a Care Services Customer Partner/Technician, an ACPT, and another store based Pharmacist.
One day a week there is double cover for the Pharmacist to help support with the Care Services workload.
Services provided include Hypertension, Contraceptive Service, Supervised Consumption, Pharmacy First, NMS and flu vaccinations.

About the role
As a Pharmacist with us you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care, it’s more than dispensing medicine, it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility will be:
1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
2. Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
4. Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount
5. Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have
To be successful in this role you will have a professional, caring character and a true desire to help us change for the better. In addition you will:
1. Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
2. Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
3. Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
4. Be collaborative with a team-centered approach
5. Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
6. Be a great communicator; able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients
