As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with the following:
1. To accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
2. To provide a full mechanical and electrical maintenance service to the company process plant and other designated areas.
3. Maintenance and repairs of steam boilers, pumps, gearboxes, agitators, and other plant equipment where necessary.
4. Maintenance and repairs of electrical plant equipment where necessary.
5. Installation of chemical plant equipment, valves, and pressure relief valves under management of change.
6. General building and electrical maintenance repairs.
7. Resolve any unplanned breakdowns in a safe and expedient manner.
8. Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all items required for scheduled shutdowns are minimized while maintaining all safe working procedures and conditions.
9. Immediately report any incident which management needs to address using the appropriate reporting systems in place.
10. Respond to required corrective and preventive action in a timely manner.
11. Carry out additional duties not listed above at the discretion of the Directors.
A successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician should have:
* Both Mechanical and Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above).
* Apprenticeship qualification or equivalent.
* MIG/TIG welding qualifications.
* Confined space qualification.
