Account Controller
Home based with frequent travel
Location: flexible but ideally Southern based
£70-85k + car allowance, bonus, private health care
We are looking for an experienced Account Controller (often the equivalent of Client Account Director within our industry) to join us here at Avidity Group.
Avidity is the parent company of a group of agencies who offer a range of specialist sales and marketing services to help brands sell more.
McCurrach and Standout provide field marketing services.
Zing offers a variety of services including tactical support to help brands be more visible throughout the year.
Wave boosts brand performance through engaging consumer experiences.
Thumbprint helps brands via their EPOS data and analytics products, to unlock sales potential.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar role within our industry and will ideally have multi service, channel and category experience.
As Account Controller you will be part of our Senior Leadership team. You will own the relationship with your client stakeholders, be accountable for delivering the annual and long term strategic plan whilst developing strong external and internal networks that support client integration. You will set the direction for your team, establishing team culture and will have accountability for your overall people plan. Your channel and sector knowledge will prove invaluable as you will take ownership of providing regular insight such as trends, retailer detail and market changes as well as continually looking for innovative ways to maximise our value for the client.
The Person
* A strong understanding of field sales industry/agency side is essential.
* Client side experience would also be desirable.
* You will be a highly competitive sales leader with a strong desire to win in the market place and have the ability to build and lead that culture within your team.
* You will come from an FMCG Convenience/Away from Home, Grocery or Foodservice background but other channels will also be considered.
* High levels of resilience.
* Proven experience delivering strategic growth.
* Outstanding analytical and numerical experience.
* Strong commercial acumen and budget/P&L management.
* Natural leader and relationship builder.
* Extremely commercially aware with proven experience operating at a very senior level within an FMCG environment.
* Results focused.
* Fantastic negotiation experience.

* Salary in the range of £70-85k.
* Car allowance - £575 per month.
