British Gymnastics has the following Fixed term, Part Time post to March 31st 2026 1 5 hours per week (2 days at 7.5 hours per day) Salary range £15,121.21 to £15,961.26 per annum [£37,299.00 to £39,371.00 Full time equivalent] (dependent upon experience) 39 days annual leave (including Bank Holiday and Company days) 2 wellbeing days a year weekly exercise and wellbeing hours (pro rata) This is a dual based role working from Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire and from home Role Summary: This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the coaching accreditation model, driving accessibility and quality in the coaching community. The Programme Support will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, cohesive, and timely delivery of the Foundation Coach Programme. This new programme will modernise the accreditation process, increase accessibility, and ensure a high-quality learning and development experiences for all. The Foundation Coach Programme will involve the development and implementation of multiple interconnected products that will be launched throughout 2026. The role holder will play a critical part in supporting the Project Sponsor and ensuring the programme’s successful delivery to the community.Please refer to the Role Profile for full details Main Areas of Responsibility: Support the Project Sponsor in Project Management, Coordination, Reporting & Documentation Typical activities Assist in the management of planning, scheduling, and delivery of the Foundation Coach in collaboration with the Project Sponsor. Coordinate project team members calendars to facilitate collaborative and efficient working Track progress across all interconnected products, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are appropriately allocated. Manage key project documentation, such as project plans, timelines, and reports. Support the creation of reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and successes. Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. Assist in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with all programme stakeholders. Ensure alignment/cohesiveness across all product developments, ensuring each component of the programme works seamlessly together to achieve the overall vision of the programme. Support the decision-making process by embedding project management processes into scoping activities. Manage the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of the programme’s delivery leading up to launch. During the programme development phase monitor feedback from stakeholders, helping to incorporate insights into current and future iterations of the programme. Assist in identifying the data that will be used to measure effectiveness and ensure alignment with overarching programme objectives. Facilitate decisions regarding Product Management processes to support the longevity of the programme post-launch. Role Requirements: 1. Knowledge, Skills and Expertise This role requires the holder to maintain an up-to-date knowledge and demonstrate expertise in effective Project Management and Product Development methodologies to support the delivery of the programme. To be effective in this role the holder will require Proven experience in supporting the delivery of complex multifaceted projects, preferably within the education, learning, or coaching sectors. Experience working in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. The ability to be agile in their way of working, adapting their project management style to the needs of the project group, in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficiency in project management methodologies and utilisation of software tools (e.g., Asana). Proficiency in other software such as Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. The ability to maintain focus on objectives and work efficiently under pressure. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to be curious, think critically and be willing to challenge. A strong team player ethos with a collaborative and flexible approach to work. A qualification in Project Management is desirable though not essential (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
