SEND Teacher – Ofsted Outstanding SEND School –Cramlington Area
Milk Education is excited to be working with an Ofsted Outstanding SEND school in the Cramlington area, who are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teacher. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and developing students with Special Educational Needs, providing tailored teaching plans, and creating a nurturing environment for them to thrive!
This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of education for students with SEND, and the ability to work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and support staff across Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3.
Role and Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning: Delivering lessons and supporting students to meet their individual learning goals.
Creating Inclusive Environments: Ensuring the learning environment is supportive and accessible for all students.
Tailored Lesson Planning: Adapting and differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with autism and other SEND.
Support Across the Curriculum: Involvement in teaching across subjects, including PE, core subjects, and outdoor learning.
Collaborating with Professionals: Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to deliver holistic support.
We are looking for a SEND Teacher who is:
Passionate about SEND Education: Committed to helping every child fulfil their potential and ensuring inclusivity in the classroom.
Collaborative: Able to work well within a team and liaise with other professionals to support students' needs.
Experienced: Previous experience in a SEND or educational setting is essential.
Creative and Adaptable: Able to design and implement innovative lessons that cater to different learning styles.
Qualified: A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) is required, with experience in special education settings being highly desirable.

Job Details:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £130 - £190 per day
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch break)

Requirements:
SEND Experience: QTS and at least 1 year of experience in SEND education or a similar setting.
Safeguarding: Applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references.
