Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant - Secondary

Pay rate: £75 - £100 per day

The Role:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant in a secondary school, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted support to students with SEMH needs. Your role will involve assisting teachers, working one-on-one with students, and helping create a nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with SEMH needs in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving their academic potential.
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement personalized support plans.
* Foster positive relationships with students, providing emotional and social support as needed.
* Assist in managing behavior and promoting positive behavior strategies within the school community.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
Requirements:
* Experience or training in supporting students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
* A compassionate and patient approach to working with young people facing challenges.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
* Resilience and adaptability to respond effectively to varying situations in a school environment.
