We are seeking a talented individual to join our CUO team at Victor Insurance UK. This role is a Hybrid role based at home with a requirement for occasional travel to Brokers and Victor UK offices in London, Leeds, Bristol, Cambridge or Witham to fulfil the role mandate.
Victor is one of the largest MGAs in the world and part of the Marsh McLennan group. Victor UK currently write a book of commercial business spanning Property & Casualty, Motor, Financial Lines & Marine with specialist products delivering tailored solutions for targeted Customer segments.
Following an internal promotion within the Global Victor business we now have a vacancy for a new UK Agriculture Product Lead and we're looking for someone to join our team and help take this account to the next level. The successful candidate will be supported by our experienced and industry recognised underwriting team as well as benefiting from recent investments in our digital product.
Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer you will be accountable for the sustained profitable growth of the UK Agriculture P&C portfolio and for continuing to build Victor's status as one of the leading Agriculture insurance markets in the UK.
You will be joining a dynamic team who are focused on delivering superior outcomes for end customers, a seamless and digitised trading experience for our brokers, and consistent profit and growth for our insurer partners. As a member of the CUO team you will be expected to contribute towards the overall underwriting strategy and delivery of the business plan for Victor UK.
We will count on you to:
* Own the Agriculture product and underwriting strategy ensuring we maintain a compelling proposition for Farmers and our broker partners.
* Using your market experience and connections to ensure that we stay ahead of the evolving insurance needs in this sector and always deliver good customer outcomes.
* Clearly set the direction for our Agriculture underwriting team empowering them to deliver for our brokers and our insurance capacity providers.
* Personally support the development of key broker relationships.
* Act as the senior authority holder for Agriculture in the UK.
* Represent Victor UK in the Agriculture insurance market, building on and further enhancing our reputation as one of the leading providers of farm insurance.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with our insurance capacity providers. Build trust by demonstrating a detailed understanding of account performance dynamics and developing proactive steering strategies which deliver insurer targets.
* Develop and lead key partner relationships that support our proposition (e.g. Insurers & claims TPAs).
* Develop and deliver the Victor UK business plan for Agriculture and collaborate and support your peers to ensure our overall objectives are achieved.
* Identify opportunities for personal and team development which build on our standing as experts in this field.
* Insights and support from our portfolio management, pricing and analytics teams.
What you need to have:
* A clear vision for an Agriculture insurance proposition which delivers for Farmers, our Brokers and our insurer partners.
* Extensive years of underwriting and/or product management experience in a senior role, regional or London market with experience working in the Agriculture sector.
* Experience working within the Agriculture insurance sector.
* Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* The enthusiasm and energy to drive the continued development of Victor's standing in the market and deliver the Victor UK 2028 goals.
