Job Description:
This is a hybrid role (Employee Relations Lead and HRBP) supporting the Outsourcing Business in the UK.
The primary focus of this position is Employee Relations, providing guidance and end-to-end case management for policy and procedural issues across Outsourcing. The role involves overseeing and guiding junior team members and managing employee relations issues by collaborating with leaders and managers to establish compliant practices in areas such as performance management, equal pay, harassment, disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, whistleblowing, conflict resolution, and changes to terms and conditions.
Additionally, the role works closely with the HR Talent Advisor for Outsourcing to execute segment/function-specific talent strategies aligned with business priorities. It involves partnering with Recruitment, Regional HR Delivery, Global HR Services, and HR Centres of Expertise to implement talent initiatives, assess needs for alternative approaches, and adhere to the global HR operating model.
The role reports to the Head of Employee Relations GB and ensures ER processes are compliant with local needs and regulations.
Employee Relations Responsibilities
* Provide guidance and supervision to Employee Relations Specialists for effective, compliant resolutions.
* Lead the team in best practices, case law, and legislation.
* Handle complex investigations and escalate as needed.
* Work with HRBPs and stakeholders for effective case management and prevention strategies.
* Develop and coach ER team members and the wider HR team.
* Manage workflow and ensure sufficient coverage during peak periods.
* Identify issues and trends related to hiring, onboarding, leaves, and other HR areas.
* Establish and improve ER processes alongside the team.
* Support broader HR projects and initiatives.
* Educate and upskill team members and managers on ER casework and employment law.
* Serve as escalation point for regulatory breaches and legal cases.
HRBP Responsibilities
* Collaborate with HR Talent Advisor and leadership to execute talent strategies.
* Support organizational redesign and change management.
* Assist with workforce reduction planning and execution.
* Promote inclusion and diversity in HR services.
* Partner with Recruitment on workforce planning and hiring approvals.
* Support Total Rewards initiatives, including mobility, benefits, and compensation reviews.
* Champion performance and talent management processes.
* Guide learning and development strategies.
* Provide talent analytics and workforce insights.
