Position Overview: As a PC Technician at LOGIX, you will play a crucial role in our operations by building custom PCs, providing technical support, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will be responsible for assembling PCs according to specifications, testing for performance and stability, and troubleshooting any issues. Additionally, you will handle technical support calls, assist customers with their queries, and provide solutions to any hardware or software-related problems. A Typical Day in the Job: PC Assembly: Build custom PCs according to customer specifications, ensuring the highest level of quality and performance. Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform comprehensive testing on assembled PCs, including stress tests, to ensure functionality, stability, and performance meet LOGIX standards. Technical Support: Handle customer inquiries and technical support calls, providing prompt, professional, and accurate solutions to hardware and software issues. Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose and repair hardware problems in customer PCs, including component replacements and software troubleshooting. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of PC components, tools, and supplies, ensuring all parts are accounted for and in good working order. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during all interactions, including educating customers on their systems, addressing concerns, and following up on repairs or builds. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of builds, tests, repairs, and customer interactions in our internal systems. Quality Control: Ensure all completed PCs meet LOGIXs quality standards and are ready for delivery or pickup. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge (preferred but not essential): Essential Grading Requirements: Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 5 in English is essential. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PC hardware, components, and peripherals with hands-on experience building and troubleshooting PCs. Customer Service: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear and friendly manner. Problem Solving: Analytical skills to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to assembly and testing to ensure every PC meets our high standards.
