The opportunity Join NHS Resolution s Claims Evolution Programme (CEP) and be part of a team developing an internationally-recognised claims management service. We are investing in our capacity and capability to bring more work in-house, provide a holistic service to our scheme members, and achieve a net return on investment by reducing reliance on external suppliers. We are seeking a qualified accountant with a strong background in financial analysis and diverse accountancy techniques. As a self-starter, you will tackle complex problems with initiative and precision. Your expertise will be crucial in developing cost-benefit strategies and ensuring compliance with financial management frameworks, directly supporting the success of CEP. This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity with the possibility of an extension. What you ll be doing Lead Cost-Benefit Modelling: Develop and maintain a cost-benefit model, ensuring compliance with public sector financial frameworks. Financial Analysis: Track and analyse key financial metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Data Coordination: Facilitate data sharing and influence decision-making with confidence. Central Financial Contact: Liaise with Claims Operations, the Finance team, and actuaries on financial modelling assumptions. Reporting and Updates: Provide financial updates to various committees and contribute to corporate reporting. What we re looking for CCAB qualified accountant or equivalent (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide solutions. Effective collaborator with proven goal-setting and change management abilities; able to build strong professional relationships. Experience in building and maintaining financial models to inform business decisions, interpreting complex data, and providing solutions. Proven ability to produce clear and understandable financial reports and analysis.
