Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and high-caliber Medical Affairs (MAF) professional for the position of Cell Therapy Coordinator. Reporting to the Haematology Medical Lead, you will play a vital role in bridging medical support and commercial operations within our Haematology franchises. This position represents an outstanding opportunity to significantly impact patient care in the evolving field of CAR-T therapy. Key Responsibilities: Act as a primary liaison between commercial and medical affairs teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Support certified CAR-T sites by coordinating patient care journeys and handling logistics to facilitate smooth service delivery. Assist in onboarding treatment sites to our order management IT platform, ensuring all collaborators receive the appropriate information. Lead day-to-day case handling and support for collaborators involved in CAR-T operations. Maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies while addressing any inquiries or special situations. Lead key medical affairs initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local and regional collaborators. Core Tasks: Medical Affairs Expertise: Provide expertise on CAR-T operations and logistics. Address unsolicited requests for information and direct special situations to appropriate collaborators. Support to Treatment Centers: Facilitate onboarding and case management for treatment sites, ensuring efficient communication and operations. Assist in the patient enrollment process, from ordering to cell processing and transportation. Patient and Cell Journey Synchronization: Optimize order processing and coordinate cell delivery. Serve as the main point of contact for nurses, ensuring positive patient experiences. Customer Experience Enhancement: Adapt to customer preferences and run communication efforts effectively. Coordinate virtual training for nursing staff on relevant topics. Operational Performance: Ensure supply chain processes align with project demands and adhere to documentation requirements. Collaborate with key internal collaborators to drive continuous improvement. Accountabilities: Stay updated on technical, medical, and compliance training specific to CAR-T and Myeloma. Ensure full compliance with local and regional regulations, data privacy, and company SOPs. Location: This is a field-based role in the UK, with approximately 10-20% domestic travel required for meetings. Qualifications: Qualifications: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a medical or scientific subject area. Clinical experience in pharmacy or nursing is highly desirable. A minimum of 3-5 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitals or patient care coordination. Experience working cross-functionally with internal collaborators, particularly in haematology or cell and gene therapy. Strong communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.
