Social Media Manager
Nova are working on an exciting opportunity to join a growing digital team in one of Manchester's fastest-growing 360 agencies. You will be joining a small organic social media team that works with global brands across the gaming and FMCG sectors. You will mainly be responsible for running a European account for a well-known drinks brand across Meta, TikTok, and X, whilst working closely with the junior members of the team to help drive strategy for internal socials. The ideal candidate will be from an agency background and comfortable working client-facing. You will be strategic with your approach to work whilst effectively managing deadlines and staying on top of social media trends.
The progression of the role is 'Senior Social Media Manager' whereby additional responsibilities such as larger client management and internal team management will apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day management of organic accounts, including community management, scheduling, and overall account maintenance.
2. Uphold high standards in all social media outputs, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and on-brand.
3. Create content calendars monthly/weekly depending on client requirements.
4. Develop, implement, and lead on social strategies for clients and internal accounts.
5. Assist with Influencer Management.
6. Content creation - Working alongside and leading the creative team on all social media requirements from both client and agency.
7. Managing multiple high-level, content-heavy accounts across multiple platforms.
8. Assist in the production of social media content, including TikTok videos and other static visual content using software such as Canva and CapCut.
9. Maintain consistent communication with clients to understand their marketing needs and objectives.
10. Having a very in-depth understanding of the social platforms used, including keeping up with all trends and updates.
11. Monitor social media trends and best practices, implementing these insights into content strategies and production of reactive content.
12. Provide regular updates and monthly reports to clients on social media performance and campaigns.
13. Working towards the growth of the social department alongside senior digital management.
14. Reactive community management across all platforms/accounts as required by client and level of interaction from audiences.
Qualifications:
1. 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role.
2. Have worked in a client-facing capacity.
3. Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
4. Strong understanding of social media platforms.
5. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
8. Proficiency in Canva or any other editing software.
9. Proficiency in CapCut or any other video editing software.
