Who You Are:
Ground Effects is currently searching for a IT Service Desk Lead to support our team in Windsor, Ontario. The IT Service Desk Lead is responsible for providing hardware and software support to all users. They configure and repair computer systems, provide network support, participate in the development, implementation and enforcement of network policies and procedures. They also provide support on process improvements and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical training in Information Systems.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related engineering program
* Minimum 2 years supporting computers in a network environment.
* Experience with Windows 10, Office 2019 and Active Directory
* Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license
* Knowledge of Windows and MS Office Products
* Understanding of MS Active Directory and networking principles.
* End user hardware troubleshooting
* Experience with current desktop and server operating systems.
* Experience with desktop productivity applications and Lotus Notes.
* Advanced knowledge of and/or experience supporting Windows and MS Office products.
* TS16949 or IATF 16949, Quality Audits, and Environmental Management System and OSHA Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide remote and onsite client hardware and software support to all network users.
* Assist in providing network server support and maintenance.
* Assemble, configure and deploy new and repaired computer systems to required company locations.
* Assist in the development, implementation and enforcement of network policies and procedures.
* Analyze information systems processes and propose solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
* Assist in company phone system administration.
* Manage work on other IT Service Desk Analysts
