Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter to safely set up & operate machinery according to specifications and instructions.
What you’ll do:
1. Set the injection Moulding Machines to an acceptable standard and ensuring all product is running efficiently and within specification.
2. Operate the injection Moulding Machines and ensuring that the machines are kept in good working order and are completed to a high level and documented.
3. Ensuring that good levels of S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling.
4. Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
5. Liaises effectively with the Tool maintenance around insert changes and the general condition of the tooling, ensuring that all tooling is ready to set by liaising with the planning departments.
6. Work to Health and Safety within the Injection Molding area
7. Responsible for the quality of the product produced and raises any issues with the Quality department.
8. Responsible for an effective shift handover and takeover
9. Ensures departmental and all company procedures are followed.
10. Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard.
What you bring:
11. Prior experience in Injection Moulding machines and tooling
12. Experience of setting Arburg moulding machines
13. Knowledge of the properties and processing behavior of polymer materials
14. Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
15. Mechanical aptitude
16. Able to work in teams
17. Good communication skills
18. Recognised qualification in polymer processing

Hours of work will be hours per week working:
Monday -Thursday pm - am
Hourly pay rate - £ - £ depending on experience, plus % shift allowance for day shifts
