The role will lead our current and future business throughout the North, responsible for driving production, progression and change within the territory. A Snapshot of the Role
The successful applicant will take responsibility for all business activities of the company within the region. Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will motivate and lead all operations within the region and achieve the growth and profit targets approved by the board.
The successful candidate will develop and enhance Glendale’s reputation within the ‘green services’ marketplace ensuring that activities are conducted safely and to the highest possible standards.
The Scotland, North England & Midlands Director will lead Glendale in the region, protecting our brand & reputation and enhancing our offering through effective leadership, communication, networking, enthusiasm and promotion, bringing fresh ideas.
Who are you?
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record as an operational director or senior leader in a relevant sector with a proven ability to deliver quality-driven, cost-effective, profitable contracts along with sound business acumen, budget and P&L management experience.
Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation, continuous improvement and generating profitable growth in a geographically dispersed business.
Excellent team building and customer relation skills.
A relevant Degree or equivalent operational experience together with an appropriate professional qualification is essential, along with an understanding of the green marketplace in the territory and the opportunities available.
