The Renal Ward currently has a position available for a Band housekeeper who is interested in leading housekeeping, health and safety and general environment of the Maternity Assessment unit and supporting maternity wards.
We are seeking a housekeeper who is motivated, dynamic and possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Main duties of the job
1. To work as an integral part of the ward team ensuring a high quality service to patients and to provide a service that ensures that the patients’ needs are satisfied and ward requirements are met.
2. To assist the ward manager to ensure the appropriate and effective delivery of the facilities service in order to properly maintain the patient environment and services to the patient
3. To supervise an effective waste segregation and disposal service ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures and legislation
4. To work effectively as part of the ward/department team
