Young Person's Mental Health Nurse
Location: On-site, Lancashire Area
Employment Type: Full-time, 3-6-month contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Band 6 day time
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a Young Person's Mental Health Nurse within the Lancashire area. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health care and support to children and adolescents, focusing on assessments, hospital discharge planning, and safeguarding referrals. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for young people in your care.
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out comprehensive mental health assessments with children and young people, identifying their needs, risks, and treatment goals.
Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, making appropriate referrals to social services and relevant agencies, ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are followed.
Provide ongoing clinical support to young people, including administering medications, providing therapeutic interventions, and monitoring progress.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with professional standards, ensuring that all documentation complies with local guidelines and legal requirements.Essential Requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
Must have experience of CAMHS / child protection work
