Job Description:
Care and Support Worker – Nights
Based: Springfield’s, Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire
Hours: 28.5 hours
Salary: £12.13 per hour
Are you passionate about delivering excellent care? Do you want to make a difference to people’s lives every day? Would you thrive in an environment that supports employees to reach their full potential? If yes, then this is the role for you!
The development of Springfield’s consists of 65 beautiful supported living apartments situated in the heart of the National Forest. The service provides extra care housing, alongside 24-hour care and support services. The residents will predominantly be adults aged over 55 years, although there will also be a small number of working-aged adults with care and support needs.
This development is designed to provide a range of services to meet the needs and aspirations of the people living there. The scheme has staff on duty 24 hours a day who deliver packages of care to meet assessed needs, and a management team to ensure that the scheme remains safe and compliant.
We are seeking Care and Support Workers who are passionate about supporting the needs of older people and/or those with learning difficulties. The Care and Support Worker will be responsible for providing outstanding levels and high standards of integrated, person-centred care. This will meet the needs, aspirations, and ambitions of the people we support, in line with CQC Regulations and company policies and procedures. You will promote individual rights and personal dignity for service users and provide them with every opportunity for physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
If you feel that you would welcome a challenge, are passionate about making a difference, and believe you could lead an innovative scheme that has the ability to change lives and achieve outstanding outcomes, this is the job for you.
Do you have?
* Good knowledge of the needs of older people and/or those with learning difficulties/disabilities.
* An understanding and awareness of health and safety issues.
* A good awareness of Equal Opportunities when supporting people with complex needs.
