Working Hours– Shift Pattern 6.30am to 5.30pm / Monday to Friday /37.5 hours per week not including 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid)
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for aService Centre Technicianto join the business. This position will be based at our Logistics Centre in Knowsley –MJ Quinn Logistics, Unit 14 Randles Road, Knowsley Business Park, L34 9HX

The Logistics Department supports the Training Academy with the development of kits for SI, Copper and FTTP engineers. The department provides tools, kits and high value equipment to Service Delivery and Network Build teams.
Further services include providing clothing and PPE, processing van returns, repairing and calibrating equipment whilst operating a service centre for the management of high value assets.
The logistics team operate out of three facilities: Randles Road Stores in Knowsley, Deeside Stores in North Wales, and Newport Stores in South Wales. At each location, the Stores Operations and Stores Inventory teams work together to provide all stores requirements for engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure field-based operative’s assets are fully compliant with MJQ policy and legal legislation.
* Ensure up to date records are kept.
* Effectively utilise and distribute stock and goods, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting.
* Ensure any defects are recorded and appropriate repairs undertaken, ensuring MJQ policy and legal regulations are adhered to.
* Report any issues/concerns to Line manager.
* Organisation of parts required for repairs and strict management of warranty cycles / calibration cycles.
* Conducting planned services, replacements, and Calibrations to relevant products.
* To work to Companies ISO 9001 Accreditation.
* Ensure all tooling and equipment is fit for purpose and in appropriate condition for the requirement.
* Ensure all tooling and equipment is recorded on the applicable systems and correctly assigned to the relevant user and/or work stream.
* To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
* Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
* Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
* A Valid UK Driving License
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
