We are looking for an immediately available EA to join the existing EA to assist the Headteacher of one of London's leading independent schools.
The Role:
* Heavy diary management, arranging appointments and providing support from meeting preparation, rescheduling and forward planning to avoid clashes and unrealistic expectations.
* Gatekeeping and managing the Head’s time.
* Arranging travel.
* Welcoming visitors - organising refreshments etc.
* General admin duties.
* Support for external events and assist with arrangements for school events.
* Attending and minute-taking at senior management meetings.
* Working in partnership with the existing EA to support and relieve the pressures.
* Compiling reports, dealing with budgets.
The Person:
* Well-educated, grad or grad calibre.
* An experienced, professional EA – ideally from a corporate or educational background.
* Dynamic but calm, not easily flustered or fazed – able to deal with anything thrown at them.
* Brilliant people skills – able to liaise at all levels.
* Team player – able to work alongside the other EA.
* Work well under pressure – often high-stress, very busy, high-pressure working environments!
* Great at timekeeping and able to upward manage and happy to hand hold when needed.
* Have flexibility with working hours – some out-of-hours, weekends, evenings etc.
* Remain discreet and professional at all times.
* Have a can-do attitude – be able to assist with whatever is needed that day, from Christmas Cards to fundraising dinners!
* IT Savvy.
