Position: M&E Site Coordinator
Location: Oswestry
Rate Guide: (Apply online only) per day (Neg DOE) inside IR35
Duration: 6-12 months
Our Client: Our client is a Tier 1 contractor within the water industry who are delivering a major water treatment project for United Utilities.
The Role: You will report directly to the Mechanical Manager initially, then the Commissioning Manager as project progresses. Supporting the MEICA Delivery Team with the receiving of all MEICA assets at the Oswestry project, storing appropriately and organising deployment to the MEICA sub-contract installation teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with MEICA team regarding the planning and undertaking of suitable storage and workshop facilities on the project.
2. Liaise with the Civils team in the preparation of storage areas.
3. Prepare for MEICA deliveries planned from procurement schedule.
4. Commercially aware, both internally and externally.
5. Provide cost effective system of storage, coordination and capturing asset data on digital platforms.
6. Assure effective documentation of the MEICA process, including data and as built documentation, input to O&Ms and feedback to the design disciplines.
7. Provide commissioning assistance.
8. Recognise the importance of customer satisfaction.
Experience:
1. Logistics, equipment and plant delivery
2. MEICA P&ID and digital systems
3. Working within a certified quality management system
4. Willingness to learn and progress
5. Site based Health and Safety requirements (CSCS)
6. Clean Water Blue Card
7. Process control systems
8. Working with subcontract suppliers
9. Strong communication skills
10. Computer literate with good understanding of appropriate software packages.
11. Basic appreciation of water and wastewater treatment processes (preferred)
