POSITION: LHR Assistant Counter Manager

The Assistant Counter Manager for Heathrow will work closely with our Counter Manager and BC teams to support field initiatives, as well as manage and coordinate day-to-day and ad'hoc projects to boost performance. The mobile nature of the role will ensure efficient Management cover across the LHR estate, ensuring adequate Management cover in all doors.
The Assistant Counter Manager will play a major role in developing, executing and measuring training & retail excellence results using Retail tools provided to support RM/TM/AM such as CEA, Simplifield and Mydior. They will support Counter Manager in the day to day running of the business across Heathrow doors and deliver excellence in service to their clients.
A successful Assistant Counter Manager must show excellent leadership, observational, and analytical skills, and be goal-oriented and results-driven.
Will be fully dedicated to LHR and will report to RM/TM.
Main Responsibilities
Retail Excellence
1. CAN SUPPORT WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF CEA PROGRAMME AND SIMPLIFIELD
2. ASSIST IN MANAGING EVENTS ACROSS LHR ON EVENT DAYS EG. ENGRAVING / POP UP / SPECIAL ACTIVATION
3. ASSIST WITH BUSINESS ANALYSIS FOR ALL TRADE ACTIVITIES
4. HELP TO GROW OUTER SHOPS BUSINESS AND IN MAIN SHOPS ACROSS LHR IN LINE WITH KEY COMPETITORS EG CHANEL, LOREAL AND LAUDER
5. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH STORE MANAGEMENT AND KEY PARTNERS
Training & Coaching
1. ASSIST WITH AT POS TRAININGS AND FOLLOW UP OF KEY LEARNINGS FOR RETAIL AND TRAINING INITIATIVES
2. FOLLOW-UP ON TEAM PERFORMANCE USING MYDIOR STATS MONTHLY
3. DRIVE SALES BY LEADING AND COACHING TEAM MEMBERS TO EXCEED SELL-OUT TARGETS
4. CO-ORDINATE WITH TM TO DELIVER TRAINING WORKSHOPS FOR BUSINESS PARTNERS ACROSS LHR
5. SUPPORT Counter Manager WITH ONBOARDING NEW STARTERS TO ENSURE A SMOOTH INDUCTION

1. People Management with a strong Retail background is essential.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be agile and adapt to the relevant terminal due to the nature of the mobile role.
3. An entrepreneur, constantly seeking opportunities to develop and grow your business through events and gain new sales.
4. Organised; able to manage paperwork, Team Members, Department and Area Managers and meet the clients' needs.
5. Tenacious; willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer leaves having received the very best in luxury service.
6. Self-confident, you will be able to approach and engage with customers at ease, using your strong selling skills to chase that extra sale.
7. You will be able to demonstrate cosmetics and make-up application knowledge, and through excellent communication skills, be able to identify key items that would suit the customers' needs.
