The Company A well-established engineering company are looking for a Site Installation Manager to join the team. The company operate across a number of industries including renewable energy, water treatment, and industrial applications. The Role Responsibilities include planning, site deliveries, site inductions, meetings (design, pre-start, work schedules, and completion), labour management (in-house and subcontractors), materials, pressure testing, and documentation control. This is a hands-on role when you need it. The role also involves managing an in-house team. Responsibilities include job scheduling, document control, material requisitions, and technical training. Responsibilities - Assist project coordinators in developing bespoke designs, ensuring high-quality, fast, and cost-effective installation solutions. - Travel across the UK (80% field-based) - Provide feedback on design drawings before client approval. - Liaise with subcontractors, labour suppliers, and transport providers. - Coordinate with clients for pre-start meetings, deliveries, and inductions. - Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings, including RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). - Ensure all work aligns with approved design drawings, RAMS, and safe systems of work. - Conduct routine client meetings during project activities. - Perform quality inspections of installations and pressure testing as per requirement The Candidate Must have experience with welding/fabrication and installs Happy with field-based work (80% field 20% in-house) and staying away from home Monday- Friday Knowledge of the water and wastewater treatment sector would be beneficial Experience in overseeing a team Hold site qualifications (CSCS, IPAF, First Aid, etc.) Hold a full UK driving licence The Package The salary offered for this position is £40,000- £50,000 plus van and expenses to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
