This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dietitian to expand their knowledge and skills in paediatrics. This post will be based at the Grange University Hospital but will include outpatient clinics at locations across the health board.
The post holder will have already attained a sound knowledge and understanding of either general paediatric dietetics or other specialities within dietetics. Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential as training and supervision will be provided. CPD opportunities will be provided including shadowing other specialities and relevant BDA modules.
The Aneurin Bevan paediatric team is a dynamic, highly specialised team of dietitians supported by dedicated paediatric support workers and admin support.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the acute team covering the children's wards and neonatal unit at the Grange University Hospital. They will be responsible for a general paediatric dietetic outpatient clinic and will have the opportunity to deliver group education to families and other health professionals.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and Knowledge
1. HCPC registration as a dietitian
2. Completion of masters level paediatric dietetic training
Experience
1. Evidence of a strong interest in paediatric dietetics
2. Passionate and enthusiastic about paediatric dietetics
3. Experience of managing paediatric patients
