Job title: Warehouse & National Parts Centre Manager (Marchington)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Summary:
* Responsible for creating a Health & Safety culture that delivers a zero-accident attitude, learning from unsafe acts/conditions to provide a first-class safety environment.
* Responsible for effective leadership of the Warehouse Operation & National Parts Centre providing outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers, delivering operational excellence applying a continuous improvement methodology.
* Responsible for the day-to-day running & reporting of the Marchington Operation/Facility including budgetary control, resource planning, inventory/space management.
* Daily management of Supervisors, Team Leaders and Operatives, leading by example, driving employee engagement, creating a high performing multiskilled team that represents our company’s vision & values.
* Effective management & supply of finished goods & spare parts exceeding customer KPI expectations & delivered with a cost control/reduction mindset.
* Collaboration with internal departments to ensure effective and efficient use of staff and company resources.
* Establishing, implementing and managing effective internal business procedures, KPIs and processes.
* Partnering with our suppliers to deliver a premier service that supports our internal KPIs.
* Responsible for ISO9001/14001 compliance/adherence/accreditation.
Description of duty/responsibility:
Time allocation (%):
* Ensuring accurate stock figures are kept and always maintained, investigating discrepancies, and demonstrating audit trails. 10%
* Management of the Warehouse/NPC team whilst providing an effective and efficient supply chain to internal & external customers (training/skills matrix). 30%
* Ensuring that all orders are dispatched within the required service level agreements. 10%
* Effective communication & engagement of teams. 10%
* Ensure that all health and safety measures are set and adhered to by all team, always including and maintaining a 6S environment. 10%
* Process compliance/adherence (ISO9001/14001) resulting in maintaining accreditations. 10%
* Introduce/Undertake ad-hoc CI initiatives/projects as deemed necessary to increase the effectiveness and overall efficiency of the operation (including negotiating with external suppliers to provide outstanding service and products at the best competitive rates). 15%
* Ensure warehouse KPIs are set, monitored, maintained and updated. 5%

Pay: Up to £50,000.00 per year
