The role We are looking for a Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join our Business Crime & Regulatory (BC&R) team working closely with specialist Partners in this field. This role is well suited to an experienced regulatory lawyer (circa 5 yrs PQE) with experience across the areas of Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, Inquests and Product Liability/recall. Our team covers a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters but for this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in contentious work. We are looking for a candidate with a thorough grounding and proven technical ability. Given the varied case load and large-scale projects we run in this team, you will need to have well-developed project management and prioritisation skills. We are open to where you’ve honed your practice and in addition to private practice, we would be delighted to hear from Barristers with experience in this field or those in-house who are interested in making a move in to practice. We work along national lines and the BC&R team is based across Birmingham, Milton Keynes and the Thames Valley so we have flexibility to recruit in to any of these locations and others in our office network.
