Quality Manager + This product range + Cornwall = A superb opportunity.
Chances are, living in Cornwall you enjoy the good life (as I write this enviously up in Manchester in the rain on an industrial estate). This is a superb opportunity to elevate your job to that of your surroundings.
This is a great opportunity to join a factory that is in a good place (BRC AA). Commercially they are doing excellently as well and have cemented a position as category leader. That’s a pretty good foundation for you to come in and drive improvements around the technical function. You will be the Quality Lead for the site reporting into an off-site Group QSHE lead.
So, this role offers:-
1. Autonomy
2. Support from a bigger group
3. Job security
4. Leadership of function
You’ll be joining a site where collaboration and genuine cross-functional appreciation is a reality. Very often, technical and quality commitments can be seen as an obstacle to delivering product, here that is not the case.
You’ll be managing the Quality/technical function supporting the technical department with site visits and BRC audits. There is one direct report, so it is a people management role, but you won’t be consumed by a huge team.
To be successful, we’re looking for experience in quality management gained in the technical department within the food industry. You’ll be trained in internal auditing, HACCP qualified and with Food Safety Level 3 ideally. We’re open on category experience, as long as you’re knowledgeable around driving a food safety culture factory-wide, with great people leadership and engagement skills.
This would suit you if you are at this level already and want a change of scene in a company that can offer you the right mix of technical challenge along with stability. It would also suit you if you are ready for that next step up.
Apply today for this excellent Quality Manager opportunity with some great people.
Please note, you must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring company sponsorship.
