Role
We have an exciting new opportunity within Health in Mind. We will be developing an online platform to allow Scottish veterans access to information and resources, to help them develop skills and strategies to support their mental health and wellbeing.
We are looking for a full-time Digital Services Officer to lead the process of co-production, consultation, content design and project delivery of the new service. You will work closely with stakeholders, veterans, and a specialist digital creative design agency.

Support and Development Worker

We are seeking a new Support and Development Worker to join our diverse Community Mental Health and Wellbeing team in the Guided Self Help service.
Guided Self-Help is a one-to-one support service that guides people to access self-help materials. Sessions are delivered in person, online or over the phone. The service is based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Counselling (IPC) and is for anyone aged 18 and over experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression, stress or sleep problems.
A Guided Self-Help Support and Development Worker provides support to empower people to make positive changes in their life now and going forward.

Trauma Support Team
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Trauma Support Team with Health in Mind. Health in Mind is a leader within Scotland offering support and counselling for survivors of childhood trauma. Our Trauma Support Services support survivors of abuse in a variety of ways to support people to live the life they want to live. Our approach is values based and works alongside people, drawing on their personal strengths.
We are seeking an experienced support and development worker to provide emotional and practical support to people who are adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, or as adults have experienced sexual assault, rape or domestic violence.
The successful applicant will work with people on an individual basis with both practical and emotional support, within our Short-Term Trauma Support Service. You will support people with the impact of their trauma, to improve their mental health and wellbeing, and to develop coping strategies.

Feniks Policy Development Officer
Employed through the Scottish Government Equality and Human Rights Fund, Feniks Policy Development Officer will be responsible for:
* Advocating for the rights of the Polish, Ukrainian and other CEE communities with stakeholders and the Scottish Government
* Engaging directly with stakeholders to raise awareness of the rights, needs and experiences of the Polish, Ukrainian and other CEE communities in Scotland
* Enable the participation and representation of CEE communities in civic life
* Working closely with the Community Research and Engagement Officer (CREO) to gather information, data and case studies of the experiences and issues affecting the Polish/Ukrainian/CEE community in Scotland
* Raise awareness of the pertinent issues affecting CEE communities with stakeholders including the NHS, local authorities and the Scottish Government
* Participate in relevant political activities such as the Cross-Party Group on Poland, and other relevant mental health, equalities and human rights networks and forums
* Use existing and new research to advocate for the needs of the CEE communities at the highest level
* Enable the participation of CEE community members in political life and acting as an advocate and representative as and when required.
* Advocate for appropriate health and human rights data collection by statutory bodies with regards to CEE communities, and, where possible, promote such data to inform policy and practice.

Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Strengthen relationships with existing private sector partners through proactive and tailored stewardship. Deliver meaningful updates, demonstrate measurable impact, and secure multi-year commitments to foster sustained partnerships.
* Engagement: Manage incoming enquiries strategically while identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities. Seek growth areas within current partnerships, including increased financial support.

* Development: Collaborate with the team to create bespoke packages and develop innovative projects that appeal to partners, securing long-term income stability.
* Delivery: Ensure seamless delivery of services, building trust and laying the foundation for future collaboration and increased contributions.
What does SAMH need from you?
* Demonstrable success in account managing mutually beneficial partnerships.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding income or performance targets.
* Strong experience in presenting and communicating with diverse audiences.
* Strong understanding of fundraising principles and codes of practice, with an awareness of current trends in the fundraising environment.
* Proficiency in using CRMs/databases to maintain and monitor data. (Desirable)
* Familiarity with mental health services and the wider charity landscape in Scotland. (Desirable)
Key Skills and Attributes
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Understanding of current legislation, policies and issues affecting fundraising and the charity sector including GDPR.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence in public speaking/presentations and report writing.
* Competence in using CRM systems and databases to manage donor information and track progress. (Desirable)
