Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing and developing Hospital based Cancer Nurse Specialist Team at the regions Principal Treatment Centre for Cancer. You will join an established team as a Band 6 Neuro-Oncology CNS, and in collaboration with others, further support and develop the existing CNS service to encompass patients with Neuro-oncology high-grade and low-grade brain tumors at all stages of care and treatment including follow up. Main duties of the job You will facilitate, empower and educate the families and the teams to enable holistic, expert and seamless care throughout their journey and intopalliative care planning and support the ongoing service development of the CNS model and core pathways. You must have relevant experience, excellent teamwork and communication skills, be passionate about service development and improvement and dynamic in your thinking.
