Job Description
As a member of the B2B team, you will help the articulation of strategic priorities and define the value propositions to collaboratively drive growth in line with our business objectives. You will have exceptional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and be constantly looking to redefine, adapt and better all our B2B propositions with clear defined marketing strategies.
You will be responsible for understanding target customer needs and market developments, along with developing appropriate product propositions and services to meet client needs and deliver sustainable growth.
You will also be responsible for analysis of our proposition performance always looking for room for improvement, constantly spotting changes to optimise commercial performance and go to market approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Define client & business needs through: Assessment of current propositions incrementality and performance; maintaining a deep understanding of relevant socio-economic trends and the market around us; analysis of client research and data; affinity partner insights; front line feedback.
* Lead the creation of client centric product and service innovations. These innovations will support the B2B brand proposition, meet Halfords business needs, and therefore deliver better commercial returns for the business.
* Proposition development from cradle to grave – identifying the opportunity building the business case and executing the go to market plan.
* Support all aspects of the business case creation for each new proposition and gain buy in from the appropriate forums for approval, funding and change resource.
* Manage and deliver periodic, pre agreed performance reviews of the propositions to ensure they deliver business objectives, meet the target customers’ needs and fulfil regulatory requirements.
* Evaluate competitor activity and external market developments and communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Working with operations and key stakeholders to create and maintain controls to mitigate key risks with particular emphasis on existing client propositions.
* Support the delivery and implementation of marketing for Halfords For Business to optimise engagement, repeat business and ongoing B2B2C loyalty across all propositions with clear go to market implementation plans
* Seek new and better ways of working- to constantly improve the team’s productivity and efficiency. You will be part of a team that strives to be better in everything we do across all of B2B.
