Job Description
Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Assistant (Entry-Level)
* Process and manage a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
* Prepare weekly payment runs for authorisation
* Reconcile supplier statements and handle supplier queries
* Assist with month-end closing procedures for accounts payable
* Support the reconciliation of accounts payable in the general ledger
* Process employee expense claims
* Maintain accurate supplier records and files
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function
* Assist with audit preparations related to accounts payable
* Support other financial tasks and special projects as assigned
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant (Entry-Level) will have:
* Excellent numeracy and analytic skills
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook (to intermediate level)
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, demonstrating pride in their work with an ability to achieve targets while maintaining accuracy
* Able to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
* A team player with a flexible 'can-do' approach and attitude
* Uses own initiative and is curious when dealing with daily tasks, looking for solutions and opportunities to make improvements to internal processes
* Operates with respect and professionalism when dealing with all internal and external customers. Effective verbal and written communication.

* A willingness to learn and develop
