The Vacancy We are looking for Enhanced Support Workers to help us fulfil lives at our new Complex support needs Supported Living services in At Fitzroy, we specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism, Mental health and complex trauma on their journeys through life and in the community. With everything we do, we live and breathe our core values - We see the person, we are brave, we are creative As an enhanced Support Worker, you will provide person centred support to empower vulnerable adults that may display behaviours that challenge and complex support needs. You will receive full training around Autism, Learning disability, mental health, forensic risk, trauma informed support and positive behavioural support. You will also receive dedicated and person-centred support from your Management team and the Mental health lead/practitioner through regular supervisions and guidance on your development. You will have: Ability to be resilient and cope with challenging situations Experience of working in a similar form of challenging environment Someone with a compassionate approach A commitment to supporting vulnerable people to become more independent Someone who can demonstrate our core values A genuine passion to make a difference What the job involves day to day Supporting individuals with complex support needs in a sensitive and person centred way Working as part of a team to deliver a person-centred support plan. Documenting and maintaining accurate records of support. Supporting the People We Support to carry out their hobbies and interests in the community whilst managing their levels of risk. Empowering the People We Support to gain life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and managing their finances, at home and in the community. Being responsible for administering medication. Supporting the People We Support in line with our core values.
