Maths Intervention Specialist -Altrincham, Greater Manchester

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Intervention Specialist to work in a secondary school in Altrincham, supporting students to improve their mathematical skills and confidence. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive school team and make a significant impact on students' learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted Maths interventions to small groups and individual students, focusing on building confidence and improving key skills.
* Support students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with various levels of ability, from those requiring additional support to higher achievers.
* Assess student progress regularly, adjusting interventions to meet the individual needs of learners.
* Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective integration of intervention strategies within the classroom.
* Monitor and track the academic progress of students and provide feedback to staff and parents as necessary.
Requirements:
* Relevant Maths qualifications (minimum of GCSE in Maths, A Level or degree level in Mathematics preferred).
* Proven experience working with secondary school students in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
* Ability to deliver engaging and effective intervention sessions that motivate and support students.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
* Passion for education and helping students improve their mathematical understanding.
