Maths Intervention Specialist - Altrincham, Greater Manchester

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maths Intervention Specialist to work in a secondary school in Altrincham, supporting students to improve their mathematical skills and confidence. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive school team and make a significant impact on students' learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver targeted Maths interventions to small groups and individual students, focusing on building confidence and improving key skills.
2. Support students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with various levels of ability, from those requiring additional support to higher achievers.
3. Assess student progress regularly, adjusting interventions to meet the individual needs of learners.
4. Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective integration of intervention strategies within the classroom.
5. Monitor and track the academic progress of students and provide feedback to staff and parents as necessary.
Requirements:
1. Relevant Maths qualifications (minimum of GCSE in Maths, A Level or degree level in Mathematics preferred).
2. Proven experience working with secondary school students in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
3. Ability to deliver engaging and effective intervention sessions that motivate and support students.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
5. Passion for education and helping students improve their mathematical understanding.
