I am the National Account Manager, I am responsible for nurturing this key strategic partnership, identifying new commercial opportunities & negotiating best in class business plans that drive market share. * Be building credible and collaborative working relationships with your customer & cross functional contacts
* Develop retailer centric strategies for your customer; identify joint objectives and build business plans for mutual growth
* Influence future retailer initiatives and collaborations; ensuring we are maximising all available opportunities across all touch points
* Work with brand teams to identify additional retail opportunities
* Be responsible for driving retail sell-out, growing market share & managing your P&L down to GM for your category both in-store & online
* Take ownership of managing the strategy in your account
* To be seen as a leader within the wider team and developing the skills of more junior members of the team.
* Have finger on the pulse on competitor's activities & market trends to identify best practices
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and create persuasive commercial proposals both internally and externally to drive your business forward.
Experience in a fast-paced sales environment, FMCG preferred.
* Drive and tenacity, with an 'anything is possible' attitude.
* Strong negotiation skills, to look for win-win opportunities with our retail partners
* Strong influencing skills - you will be required to demonstrate these both externally & internally
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills
