* Monday 3pm-11:30pm, Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm, Sat & Sun 7:00am-7:30pm (40 hours)
* Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 11:30pm (30 hours)

The Team:
Shields Health Care Group’s MRI Technologists support the integrity of the organization with their commitment to excellence. The MRI technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.
The Role:
* Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
* Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
* Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
* Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
* Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
* Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.
* Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
* Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
* Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
* Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
* Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
* Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
* Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.
The Skills:
This opportunity requires prior MRI scanning experience. Necessary requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, and fantastic interpersonal skills.
In addition, the applicant will need to:
* Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
* Assist patients with mobility difficulties
* Some inpatient locations may require employee’s to participate in a call schedule/rotation
* To push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
