Location: Lincoln County/Crown Court
Hours: Monday - Friday 9-5 (37 hours)
Pay: £11.59ph and then rises to £11.88ph after 12 weeks in the role
Temporary until: March 2025 subject to further extension
Full time: in the Office
This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.
Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Admin Officer to join the team at the Lincoln Crown Court. The Administrative Officer is to carry out a variety of administrative duties. This is an exciting and interesting role. You will be provided with full training and work within a really supportive team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Creating orders and sending out to users of the MoJ
2. Court Clerking (running of the court room)
3. Managing a busy email inbox
4. Dealing with senior stakeholders (Judges, Judiciary, Barristers)
5. Completing general admin duties
6. Cross-checking documentation to ensure all information is correct before sending to the end user
7. Drafting standard letters correspondence
8. Maintaining detailed records/information
What we are looking for:
1. Strong attention to detail
2. Accuracy in spelling
3. Knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
4. Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
5. Experience working in an administrative role
6. Strong IT skills
