Tes is supporting the appointment of a Dance Teacher to join a High School based in Bath and North East Somerset.
The High School is seeking a Dance Teacher who can play a key role promoting the profile of dance at the Senior School.
You will be responsible for the excellent teaching of well-prepared lessons and extra curricular opportunities - engaging all students, regardless of their ability level.
You will contribute to providing an excellent education for all the school’s pupils by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm, offering support to the learning of individual students and contributing to the school’s pastoral system.
You will also support the Head and the SLT in the implementation of all aspects of school and policy in order to maintain the aims and ethos of the school.
To be successful in this role you will embrace and demonstrate the characteristics set out in the Professional Teacher Standards: to be Caring, Effective, Engaged, Confident, Creative and Reflective practitioners.
You will also demonstrate values and high standards of professional conduct at all times.
