Overview
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.
As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be working as part of our team, based in Thetford. The team supports people with their or their loved ones’ drug and/or alcohol issues.
No two days are the same, and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious, and a good listener are key.
We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance. In return for the time you give, you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You’ll be making a real difference too.
This is what one of our Volunteer Recovery Support Coordinators said:
“Seeing people move in their treatment journey and seeing a zest for life coming back in their lives is so rewarding.”
Our values are to be compassionate, open, and bold. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you, so click apply.
