This is a distribution position, in that is will be LP facing. The successful individual need not bring a huge network with them as the firm already has existing relationships in place. However, the role is client facing and sales led, therefore they must be comfortable operating in a front-office, market facing capacity. The successful individual will demonstrate a capability to work autonomously through a fundraising process, having exposure to all key external stakeholders. It is essential that the individual understands the nuances of pitching to institutional investors, rather than family offices/HNWI The position is focused on raising capital for funds/investment managers specifically within the credit market and thus experience within and knowledge of the nuances of the space will be hugely advantageous. The business structure a range of different types of fundraises, from single deal raises to wholescale cradle to grave multi $bn cap raises. The ideal candidate will be coming from a credit fund background, investment management, sales or placement and have pre-existing, credible front-office cap raising experience.
