A fluid role in which you will be responsible for transactional accounting matters, credit control, bank reconciliations, and general queries and disputes.
The role should appeal to team members who have the desire and ambition to progress in an ever-growing and expanding business.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Group responsibility for Accounts Payable including Expenses and Credit Cards
2. Group responsibility for Accounts Receivable including Billing
3. Direct Debit set-up and collections on a monthly basis
4. Group responsibility for Credit Control including the preparation of Cash Flows
5. Managing and controlling the reconciliation process of multiple Bank Accounts
6. Managing and controlling the reconciliation process of Intra-Company transactions
7. Ownership of key Balance Sheet reconciliations including updating Fixed Assets
8. Assisting with the monthly preparation of the Management Accounts including ownership of Accruals, Prepayments, and Depreciation
9. Manage regular and ad-hoc internal and external reporting
10. Assist with the annual Year-End Audit and Statutory Reporting process
11. Take ownership for resolving Finance queries and disputes
12. To be a reliable cover for the Finance Business Partner
To be considered for this hands-on Accounts Assistant role, you will be degree educated and AAT qualified or be part-qualified ACCA or CIMA. You will also have demonstrable experience within a similar position with a track record of progression in finance experience.
Contract: Full time, Permanent - 40 hours per week (Hybrid Working)
Location: Central Support Office - Mayfair
Salary: £35,000
