We are a fast-growing independent public affairs and strategic communications agency with a diverse client roster. We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications and Marketing Executive to join our team.
This exciting entry-level role offers opportunities to gain experience across the business, supporting teams to deliver public affairs, communications, and marketing while working closely with clients across different industries and supporting the running of the Trade Association Forum.
The work is varied, so the ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and a passion for developing creative and impactful campaigns for our business and clients.
Key Responsibilities
This person will form part of the Inflect team that provides the secretariat for the Trade Association Forum, the only UK Association for Trade Associations. You will help in all aspects of running TAF including in the implementation of a new member communication strategy. More broadly, the role will involve:
1. Supporting the implementation of the Inflect new business and marketing strategy
2. Managing a range of social media channels and websites for clients and Inflect (primarily on LinkedIn/X/Bluesky)
3. Organising and supporting the delivery of events including webinars, roundtables, receptions, conferences, panel events, training, and more
4. Developing communications and marketing collateral, such as newsletters, brochures, presentations, and blogs
5. Delivering email marketing campaigns and supporting our data acquisition, segmentation, and overall management of data
6. Helping to generate delegate and sponsorship marketing for a range of events:
1. 1x b2b conference for trade associations
2. 1x annual awards for trade associations
3. Our programme for the political party conferences
7. Providing general administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, providing research support, and preparing materials for client presentations.
What We’re Looking For
1. A degree in communications, marketing, public relations, political science, or a related field.
2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
3. An interest in public affairs, politics, or corporate or membership communications.
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
5. Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
6. A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced team environment.
