My client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their expanding team, following continuous growth.
Role Overview:
Lead all aspects of Technical and Quality Management. The role requires compliance with food safety legislation, ISO, and BRC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure compliance with food safety standards, focusing on BRC and ISO accreditation.
•Develop and implement the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
•Improve manufacturing facility operational effectiveness.
•Review non-conformances and customer complaints.
•Manage internal audit schedules.
•Maintain technical documentation and specifications.
•Approve and audit suppliers, maintaining an approved database.
•Lead and develop the Technical Department.
•Advise on food safety, hygiene, labelling, and health and safety legislation.
•Maintain the company’s AA-grade BRC accreditation status.
Qualifications:
•Experience in a similar role within the food industry.
•Training/qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and internal auditing.
•Familiarity with ERP-based manufacturing environments.
