Job Purpose
Lead the manufacturing team to deliver precision engineered, make to order components. Champion people and activities to advance the technical capability of the business, delivering improvements which reduce lead time & cost and enabling profitable and sustained growth.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead the production operations for our manufacturing facility:
o Achieve and improve SQCDP measures
o Responsible for the manufacturing Profit & Loss performance
o Flex capacity to maximise throughput and deliver our (make to order) order book
o Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies
* Foster a positive culture by exemplifying our company core values and maintaining I Holland as a great place to work
* Plan and organise resources to exceed customer expectations, including:
o Load & Capacity planning
o Skills development & training
o Recruitment & retention activities
o Succession planning
* Manage domestic and international Supply Chain inputs
* Shape and deliver strategic initiatives to deliver growth
* Use data driven insights to drive continuous improvement and step change projects:
o Manufacturing capability & equipment
o Lean & productivity enhancement
o New technology introduction
o Process capability improvement & Zero Defects
* Support the sales team by interfacing with customer services, tech support and our international subsidiaries and agents
Additional Responsibility
This position also has the opportunity to be a member of the I Holland Executive Leadership team. This brings additional role scope including setting the strategic direction of the business through structured quarterly sprints and having a shaping influence over the entire business.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
* Degree educated in a relevant engineering or manufacturing field
* 15+ years operational experience
* 10+ years experience in senior manufacturing / engineering leadership positions
* In depth knowledge and credible delivery of improvements in a precision manufacturing environment
* Experience of high volume, tight tolerance component manufacturing or sub-contracting in an adjacent industry (e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Medical)
* A credible and structured leader, with excellent personal organisation and time management attributes
* Strong IT and system skills, with high level capability for ERP, MES, CMMS, Project Planning, Data Dashboards
