We have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Sheltered Housing Service. The role Working in a team of sheltered housing managers to deliver first-class customer service and comprehensive support and enhanced housing management services to tenants. You will take frontline and personal responsibility to enable tenants to continue to live independently in their own homes, resolving high-level escalations and complaints whilst liaising with other services and agencies. You will work effectively with tenants and service partners to drive service improvements, working across designated sheltered housing schemes as well as managing a range of complex cases including hoarding, fire risks and anti-social behaviour. Alongside this, you will act as a premises manager and carry out health and safety checks to maintain the integrity of the building and safety of people within the blocks. You will work closely with the estate management team to provide an enhanced housing management service to sheltered housing tenants. About you The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with vulnerable older people in a service environment, being familiar with designing tenants profile and support plans, as well as delivering outcomes on relevant housing-related support solutions. You will demonstrate excellent customer service care skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences and deal with complaints tactfully. You will also have good IT skills, being able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines. The desirable candidate will have a National Certificate in Housing (Supported Housing) and working knowledge of welfare benefits, with the ability to think of innovative solutions to maximise tenants’ incomes.
