About you
We have a great opportunity for a Site Engineer to work on the HMNB Devonport in Plymouth. It is the largest naval base in Western Europe and has been supporting the Royal Navy since 1691.You will be responsible for the following;
1. HSEQ performance at site level to support site team.
2. Package management of high value subcontract packages for insitu and pre cast concrete.
3. Quality performance at site level regarding standards of both workmanship and documentation.
4. Coordination of site control and the performance of site engineering teams.
5. Support management of supply chain during construction: progress, co-ordination and feedback
6. Responsible for the production, review and monitoring of construction methodology documentation including RAMS and ITP's to ensuring compliance with the company’s quality management system and the employers requirements.
7. Responsible for production of as-built documentation from site.
8. Responsible for the adherence of project team to information management procedures and requirement.
9. Management of safe systems of works and quality management.
10. Implementation of Permit to Excavate, Permit to Load and Strike and Services coordination.
11. Excellent IT knowledge including use of AUTOCAD and Microsoft suite.
12. Degree/HNC, or equivalent, in civil engineering desirable.
13. 3-5year previous civil experience
14. Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion.
15. Full Driving Licence.
