Cookpad's mission is to "Make everyday cooking fun." We believe solving everyday cooking challenges worldwide will encourage more people to enjoy cooking, ultimately addressing larger societal issues. Cookpad operates three key services: the globally recognised recipe-sharing platform "Cookpad," the e-commerce service "Cookpad Mart" for easy access to fresh ingredients, and the coaching service "Moment" which helps users build cooking skills to cook like professionals.
We are looking for a successful marketing lead with Kickstarter/crowdfunding know-how to build our marketing strategy and liaise with external marketing agencies. The focus for this role is growing the customer base for our Moment product across UK, France and Italy markets.
As our solo marketing person reporting directly to the CEO/founder, your role is likely to extend beyond typical product growth marketing, and crowdfunding experience is a key requirement. We don't have plans right now, but your role will include applying your past Kickstarter/crowdfunding campaign experience to help us understand what it takes to run a successful campaign and how it might fit into our product growth strategy.
What we are looking for
* Experience in running marketing campaigns leveraging Kickstarter or other crowdfunding platforms
* Excitement to be involved with the Moment product and our purpose - going beyond recipes to teach people the fundamentals of cooking
* Strong marketing background applicable to our product and target audience
* Crafting B2C campaigns that connect with customers in markets similar to ours
* Experience engaging and working closely with external marketing agencies on campaigns that include crowdfunding
* Experience marketing hardware (device) and subscription model products
