We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Technician to join our dynamic team and ensure our commitment to high quality repairs is continued. About the Job As a Multiskilled Technician at Steer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that damaged vehicles are repaired and restored to their pre-accident condition, adhering to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's standards. You will work on a wide range of customer vehicles, including electric and hybrid vehicles. Your responsibilities will include: Full automotive repair paint procedure, including masking and preparing vehicles, mixing and matching colours, operating the spray booth and checking the paint finish is ready for refit. Light MET and panel work, including strip fitting. Assessing the best methods for conducting repairs and using specialist body repair equipment. Supporting in panel, MET, and paint work as required, including p roviding cover in each department during times of absence. Ensuring all health and safety procedures and guidelines are adhered to at all times, including maintaining and clean and tidy work area and using appropriate PPE. About You We are looking for a candidate who has: Proven experience as a multiskilled technician across all disciplines of automotive accident repair, including panel, MET and paint work. Experience and training in working on electric and hybrid vehicles. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to working to high standards. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to support various departments as needed.
