Role Overview The ESG, Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and scaling Fossil Group’s sustainability strategies across environmental, social, and governance pillars. This includes responsible sourcing practices, and compliance with global sustainability standards. The role will work cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, third-party partners, and industry groups to support the company’s long-term goals for transparency, accountability, and impact. At the end, drive benchmarking, support research and manage key sustainability projects in alignment with our sustainability strategies. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Fossil Group’s ESG and sustainability roadmap aligned with global frameworks and company goals Support product and materials teams with responsible sourcing, certifications, and supplier engagement Own sustainability data reporting, including GRI, SASB, CDP, and internal KPIs Partner with Legal, Compliance, CSR, and Sourcing to manage risk, due diligence, and third-party assessments Coordinate audits and assessments related to ethical sourcing and social compliance Work with external stakeholders (NGOs, rating agencies, certification bodies) to align and communicate impact Support internal engagement, training, and storytelling around sustainability and ESG milestones Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or traceability, ideally within fashion, retail, fmcg or manufacturing Navigate with multiple stakeholders to understand the source of primary and secondary ESG data (carbon footprint) Be accountable for driving the improvement in data quality and data management system Analyse and interpret sustainability reporting requirements, including defining requirements, identifying reporting gaps and suggest plausible solutions Act as one of the global gatekeeper for the global environmental sustainability data for the company Extract and compile the spending and operation data from the multiple internal data management systems Deliver key result and report to relevant business owners of the environmental sustainability KPI Support the global sustainability team to educate, enhance and embed the control framework for Sustainability report Support in research, benchmarking analysis and training, if any, to support ongoing sustainability initiatives Preferred Qualifications Experience in a global or regional sustainability role Familiarity with social compliance audits and ethical trade programs Exposure to climate-related disclosures and materiality assessments Relevant degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, business management, sustainability and environmental science Certification or formal training in any sustainability disclosure framework would be an added advantage Why Join Us?
