The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Sales Director to drive new business growth by securing high-value, complex software deals with large-scale enterprise clients.
This role focuses on expanding our presence in Europe and Africa, targeting organizations with multi-billion-pound revenues and sophisticated technology infrastructures.
With a strategic, relationship-driven approach, you will engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders, navigating complex decision-making structures and ensuring long-term partnerships. This position offers a high-impact opportunity to lead major software sales, with deals often reaching £10M+ TCV and spanning multiple years.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure enterprise clients outside the UK & Ireland, focusing on Europe and Africa.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
3. Enterprise Sales Leadership: Lead bid processes, structuring high-value, complex pricing models and delivering strategic proposals.
4. Collaboration & Team Leadership: Work closely with solution architects, professional services teams, and senior leadership to ensure seamless delivery.
5. Revenue & P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for licensing revenue, services margin, and customer satisfaction.
6. Consultative Approach: Drive value-based conversations, leveraging expertise in CRM, digital transformation, billing, and credit solutions.
7. Market Expansion: Support business growth by opening new regions and establishing a strong presence in new markets.
8. Innovation & Thought Leadership: Provide insights into industry trends, cloud-based architectures, and next-generation software solutions.
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven Track Record: Experience leading £10M+ TCV enterprise software deals, ideally within utilities, energy, retail distribution, or water sectors.
2. Strategic Thinker: Deep understanding of complex B2B sales, CRM, digital transformation, and enterprise software solutions.
3. Market Expansion Expertise: Experience entering new regions and expanding business into international markets.
4. Strong Leadership & Influence: Ability to mentor teams, lead cross-functional bid efforts, and drive high-impact engagements.
5. Relationship-Driven Approach: Skilled in navigating complex organizational structures and building trusted partnerships.
6. Tech & Cloud Savvy: Understanding of modern cloud architecture, SaaS, and digital transformation trends.
7. Consultative & Customer-Centric: Experience working with C-level executives to align technology with business objectives.
8. Highly Collaborative: Works seamlessly with internal teams, including sales, consulting, and product management.
