Job Description
· Maintain accounting and controlling systems of the company.
· Support internal and external audit.
· Provide support to Management Accountants.
· Maintain and update the purchase ledger.
· Review and reconcile the creditors and debtors accounts.
· Co-ordinate with Finance Assistant (Bank) regarding timing of payments and preparation of payment runs.
· Maintain and update the sales ledger.
· Conduct credit control procedures.
· Processing employee expenses.
· Support commercial procurement processes.
· Ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Finance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Good understanding of financial and accounting principles.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience of managing financial operations, designing and implementing suitable processes and working in a dynamic environment.
* Competence in Microsoft Office 365 and Sage Line 200
